The Swedish Society for Flow Cytometry (Svensk Förening för Flödescytometri : SFF) was founded Dec. 1st, 1994.

The objectives of the Society are:

To promote research, education and progress in flowcytometry and related areas
To promote communication and exchange of information between members by among others organizing meetings and symposia
To stimulate education and research interests among members
To promote the scientific collaboration with international organizations and laboratories in other countries
To encourage the application of new methods and establishing of guidelines for clinical applications
To cooperate with various organizations in quality control recommendations.
