The short answer is yes....transfer using BD FACSNET in "server mode"
and analyze using your choice of software (WinList, WinMDI, PC-Lysis etc.)

About 6 months ago, I set up the HP on our FACStar to serve files using
FACSNET from BD........The hardest part seemed to be getting computer
support folks to plug in the cables and activate a wall plate.
You may already have the communications board in your HP if you're
running a 340.
We got a little help on the phone from BD and found that we
had to change one line of text in a file describing the network mask. (this
part is probably system specific).
Now I am able to put the HP in server mode and retrieve files quite
rapidly using a Windoze-based FTP package that came canned with our network
manager (We use Pathworks 5.1.004).
Transfer rate = 5.6 megabytes in approx. 15 min

Hope this helps
