Clinical Question - dual CD4/CD8

Are the dual CD4/CD8 cells monoclonal? I suspect they are not and
are part of an "immune response" due to a factor produced by the B
lymphoma cells. The lymphoma cells may induce the thymus to release
immature T cells the same way that IL-3 and other factors produced
in the periphery induces the bone marrow to produce more progenitors
and we often see a left shift in neutrophil maturation.
