- a chromosome suspension obtained by chopping of formaldeyde fixed root tips of field bean (Vicia faba L.).
Author: Jaroslav DOLEZEL, Sergio LUCRETTI
- univariate flow karyotype
obtained after the analysis of a DAPI-stained chromosome suspension prepared from the EF line of V. faba (2n=12, reconstructed karyotype with stable translocations, Ingo Schubert, Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Department of
Cytogenetics, D - 0 64 66 Gatersleben, Germany). All chromosome types can be discriminated and sorted.
Author: Sergio LUCRETTI, Jaroslav DOLEZEL.
- univariate flow karyotype
obtained after the analysis of a DAPI-stained chromosome suspension prepared from V. faba with a standard karyotype. Peaks corresponding to chromatids of acrocentric chromosomes, five pairs of acrocentric chromosomes and a pair of metacentric chromosomes are well resolved.
