NOTE:The following files were collected on the Elite Cytometer with the following filter arrangement. Understanding this will
aid interpretation of all of the .lmd files below:
pmt1 - 325nm excitation - all fluorescence + scatter <440nm detected
pmt2 - 488nm Side scatter
pmt3 - 525nm Fl from 488 ex
pmt4 - 575nm Fl from 488 ex
pmt5 - >600nm Fl from 488 ex
paramA - 525nm Fl from 325 ex

Filename yecfpt.lmd: Generated on the Coulter Epics Elite, this file shows
Escherichia coli. The cells were fixed in 70% ethanol and stained
with a cocktail of fluorescent brightener, fitc, and propidium iodide.

yyfpt.lmd: Generated on the Coulter Epics Elite, this file shows
Baker's yeast. The cells were fixed in 70% ethanol and stained
with a cocktail of fluorescent brightener, fitc, and propidium iodide.
Filename 7ae2n.lmd: Generated on the Coulter Epics Elite, this file shows
the bacterium Alkaligenes eutrophus which makes the biodegradable
plastic poly-beta-hydroxy-butyrate. The cells were fixed in 70%
ethanol and stained with nile red before analysis.
Filename 1bgyp.lmd: Generated on the Coulter Epics Elite, this file shows
a mixture of Bacillus subtilis var. niger and Baker's yeast.
The cells were fixed in 70% ethanol and stained with propidium
iodide before analysis.
SKATRON FILES
Note: These files are also from Hazel Davey. They are readable by SkatGraf.exe which is listed in Eric Martz's free software catalogue.
Filename arg21003.dat: Generated on the Skatron Argus, this file shows
a starved cultured of M. luteus stained with rhodamine.
Filename arg27012.dat: Generated on the Skatron Argus, this file shows
a starved cultured of M. luteus after resuscitation, stained with
rhodamine. (NB - The .DAT files are "SKATRON FORMAT" - not listmode.)
