International Society for Stereology (ISS)

The ISS ia a scientific non-profit society involved in 3-D measurement in microscopy. It is a multidisciplinary society whose diverse membership includes computer scientist, biologist, metallurgist, geologist, mathematicians, statisticians and, indeed, any scientist involved in measuring 3-D geometry from lower dimensional probes. Our interest also cover all aspects of Image Analysis, Image Processing, Mathematical Morphology, Geostatistics, Stochastic Geometry, Pattern Recognition, Fractal Geometry and related topics.
