I have been creating 35mm slides from Coulter XL list mode files using
a program called Deltagraph on the MacIntosh. To get the graphics over I
am using WinMDI from Joe Trotter (as bitmapped clipboard files) and import
them into another graphics file conversion program called Hijaak for Windows.
I use Hijaak to convert the bitmap files to MacPICT format. After this step
it's over to my MacIntosh where I use Apple File Exchange to translate the
PICT files to a form that Deltagraph and the Mac can digest. I have done
this successfully for dotplots and histograms and have been very pleased
with the results. Of course, being PICT files, they can't be re-sized
without distortion or ungrouped. Deltagraph 3.0 apparently will allow
PICT files to be ungrouped (I am still using v2.3).
If you like, you are welcome to call me for information or suggestions
anytime. Hijaak is capable of converting graphics files to and from a
very wide variety of file formats and so may be able to generate TIFF
files for your needs. I use PICT files because Deltagraph can import
only PICT or EPSF files.
