Hello out there!
I have a user who wishes to do ploidy analysis on various species of carion
consuming flies. The hope is to compare DNA content and possibly identify
cryptic species using PI staining. Has anyone had experience in this area?
What would be the best method of accessing the DNA in the hemolymph and are
there any tricks to the staining (tonicity of solutions, etc.)?
Hope Someone can help....Thanks
