Each new message is added to the index at night, so the index
should be no more than one day behind.
It is not at all clear to me yet to what extent copyright laws govern
my ability to do that, but I believe that it is up to the author of
each message to either grant or refuse permission to 're-publish'
the message.
I am therefore asking subscribers to the list:
Do you object to having the list archive available to the WWW?
I will set up our indexer to exclude messages from anyone who
definitely does not want to be included, and if necessary, I will set
it up so it reads the message for a standard "archive/don't archive"
phrase.
If there is great general objection, I will stop this experiment
altogether, of course.
Please let me know what you think in general, and if you don't want
your messages archived, please tell me that as well.
Thanks to all for your continued interest and efforts,
Steve
