I have used Reference Manager for several years and I could not live without
it. I keep my personal bibliographic references in it, and it is invaluable
for importing references into manuscripts, grant proposals, etc. You can
import references directly into it from a variety of sources. It is quite
flexible and easy to use. It has built in formatting for citations in
hundreds of journals (I don't remember how many) but you can also edit
citation formats to make your own specific ones for journals that they don't
include. You can include abstracts and notes, and a variety of reference
types are included. I hope this helps.
