This is THE flow cytometry newsgroup if you haven't noticed.
It might be possible and probably advisable to link it into
the bionet system to make it accessible from news servers
(they do integrate existing newsgroups) but you have to
consider that not everybody can access news servers. The
bionet has therefor created an archive on hypermail:
http://www.bio.net:80/hypermail/
that even allows to search for specific contents. They have
split the archive in monthly outputs that makes downloading
times bearable
As replies do not always match in the subject header, I
found the best way to look at it is by subject.

I do not think it is worth creating competing newsgroups as
it is even more time consuming to look at 5 different places
for the information we have got in one here.

Has anyone considered creating a newsgroup? sci.flow-cytometry might be
a good name. I find the amount of traffic overwhelming at times.
