UV excitable immunoglobulin labels

Hello to all:

In current work with a UV-excitable pyrene derivative
(EX 351 / EM < 500 nm) we would like to combine analysis
with a long wavelength (>>> 500 nm) emitting dye which
can be coupled to antibodies.

AMCA works fine at 351 nm but its emission wavelength is
too low. Any suggestions regarding alternatives?

I remember that a company called ULTRA provided UV-excited
680-nm and 720-nm emitting antibody conjugates
(Ultralite 680 and Ultralite 720) a couple of years ago.
Has anyone experience with these dyes at 351 nm
or the current address of the company?

I also heard rumours that PerCP can be excited in the
low UV. Any experience?

Thanks for any comments,

Gregor Rothe
