Hello, I am interested in reliable quantification of total DNA and
RNA in bacteria. We have tried RNAse digestion and staining with
Hoechst33342 or IP. We have not obtained consistent results. Our
feeling is that RNAse digestion is incomplete or there is an
important staining variability or something interfering
quantification.
Any help will be warmly wellcome. Thanks in advance,
