PURDUE CD ROM ... UP, Up, and AWAY..

Several months ago, I gave notice that we were developing a CDROM for
flow cytometry. I received many messages of encouragement and
support. Thanks for this very positive attitude expressed.

A description of the project is now up on my web site. It includes
the abstract submitted to the Rimini meeting, plus a tentative table
of contents.

I am still not sure how this will be distributed. I made enquiries
of one publisher but did not receive a very positive response, so I
am cogitating what I should do. I will approach an alternative
publisher or may publish it myself. I am considering a series
of updates periodically.

Now I need the STUFF... I have already received some disks of
material and several are working on projects to be included. Check
out the web page (see below for address) and let me know what you can
contribute or additional things that should be in there.

To get the CDs made by Rimini, I have to have the project completed
by Feb 28, so don't muck around!

Does anyone have any good historical photos of ancient ISAC meetings?
I have some great ones of Howard Shapiro playing his guitar at the
Cambridge meeting grand dinner in the giant tent! Jim Watson under a
5000 litre port vat in Porto, Zbigniew Darzynkiewicz, Vince Shankey
and others being "chickens" in Porto, and many others....

I wonder what else I can find!

Thanks
Paul
