A simple procedure of DNA extraction from ethanol fixed cells was
described by us in Analytical Biochemistry (Gong et al., Anal Biochem
218. 314-319, 1994). The procedure is applicable not only for the
extraction of DNA from apoptotic cells, as it is specifically
described in this paper, but also after cells treatment e.g. with
restriction nucleases.
