HOW DO YOU FUND YOUR CORE FACILITY?

On April 16 (PM), 1996, ISAC will hold a core facility tutorial.

The session chair (Larry Seamer) has asked me to describe funding
opportunities for core facilities.

I am collecting information about special approaches that are
used in addition to funding by your home institution or
department. I am interested in identifying sources for the
community without jeopardizing anybody's proprietary source.
I will share replies unless you request confidentiality.

I would like to know about state, federal, industrial, and
private sources and any others you feel are noteworthy. Anybody with
SBIR, STTR, APT, ARPA or private foundation grants? Specific
subcontracts on grants to users of your facilities? Industrial
labs looking for cytometry partnerships?

Thanks in advance.
