In response to Richard Meisters question on labeling of MNC with BRDU, I
might suggest that the lack of labeling is due to the lack of
proliferative activity by unstimulated lymphocytes. Unless the animals
are treated with a major antigenic challenge or a mitogen, little uptake
of BRDU can be expected either in vivo or in vitro. Hope this helps with
your problem.
