Short Summary
This edition of Methods in Cell Biology tackles the areas of methods and
method development in flow cytometry. It was the first book to attempt
to bring many methods together with comprehensive explanation and trouble-shooting.
Every method attempts to discuss the problems likely to be encountered in a
very realistic way. A significant number of the chpaters are related to DNA or RNA
measurement. Most areas of flow cytometry are dealt with in the 54 chapters
with the exception of clinically related areas. (see review of 2nd Edition).
Anyone wanting to venture into a new application of flow cytometry is going to want to
investigate this volume (or one of the subsequent edition volumes).
