Short Summary
Volume A contains 34 chapters some of which are revised from
the earlier edition of this book (Z.Darzynkiewicz &
H.A.Crissman, Methods in Cell Biology: Flow Cytometry, Volume
33, 1990).
Each chapter provides extensive introduction and discussion
regarding the technique addressed. The advantage of this
format is that it really gives the reader a comprehensive
discussion regarding the establishment of the methods and helps in
trouble-shooting.
A number of new chapters appear in this 2nd edition, many of which are
related to immunophenotyping, cell function and
related topics. This volume contains chapters on ion flux measurement, DNA/RNA,
enzyme activity, oxidative metabolism and many others.
- This volume is one of a 2 volume set (see Methods in Cell Biology, volume 42)
- (Note: summary written by one of the authors)
