This is an evolving set of notes intended for veterinary students in the School of Veterinary Medicine and medical students at the Lafayette Center for Medical Education. They are supplemented by textbook assignments and lectures plus class discussions.
They are not definitive, nor are all portionsof these notes current. In particular, documentation is in the process of being updated and put into "proper" format.
However, believing that it is good to make the "beta" version of these notes available for use and comment, they are being placed on this CD-ROM.
The author will be grateful to those who point out factual errors and would appreciate suggestions for improvement.

I have tried to insure that no copyrighted material owned by others is in these notes. If you find any I apologize to the owner of the copyright and request that you notify me immediately so I can prevent their appearance in other versions of the notes which are distributed more broadly than my own classes.
