Live vs. Dead cells?

You can use a dye called Sytox Green (Cat # S-7020) sold by Molecular
Probes which will enters dead cells and makes them intensely green
fluorescent. It is excited by the same 488 line of the argon ion
laser and hence can be used along with PE-conjugated Ab.
