I had the same problem. PHA by definition is a hemagglutinin. I started
stimulating with SEB instead.

Subject: PHA aggregation

Dear colleagues,

I am looking at intracellular cytokines produced by CD14+/CD3+ cells from
PBMC cultures, in response to PHA stimulation. I am having problems with
cell aggregation . Has anyone used a similar system and how did they get
round it? Stimulating with PMA/ionophore is not an option at the present
time.

Thank you in advance,

Tom Rowland
