Our experience at here at Carolinas Medical Center with MO's has always been
positive - we've not had any MO disk failures. On a FACStar(H-P Computer)
we have a Bering MO that hold 650Meg,6 disks - no failures; on a
FACSCalibur(MAC computer) we have a Fujitsu - 14 disks that hold 230Meg each
- no disk failures. I will mention that we have 1 MAC standalone analysis
station that had a Fujitsu drive failure, it was replaced with a Hammer
drive and all previously acquired data on disk was still accessible.
