Flownet for a Profile II

Greetings:
I am interested in transferring my Profile data to a PC. Information I
received from Coulter indicates that a couple of 3Com 503 ethernet
boards, cable, Flownet software and a few connectors should do the trick.
I would appreciate hearing from persons who have done this or something
similar inorder to answer such questions as; Is it worth doing? Brand
or type of board and cable preferences? We currently have a Lantastic
network between our PC's. Any "pitfalls" encountered?
