FACSorting

We have had a FACSort for about a year and find it to be a great analytical
cytometer, however, we have yet to find a good sorting application. Is
anyone out there actually sorting with it? It would seem to be good for
small sorts of fairly abundant populations, but the dilution factor makes
recovery of small numbers a problem. B-D offers a "concentrator" to help
this problem (for $5K!!!), but does this actually work. The slow speed
makes it inappropriate for large sorts since viability then becomes an
issue. Any comments from those of you who are using the FACSort, and what
do you do with it?
