I have a researcher interested in studying naive vs. memory T cells. It is
my understanding that naive T cells are CD45RO-/CD45RA+, and that memory T
cells are CD45RO+/CD45RA-. Is this consistent with current experience? If
so, what is the source of a pair of antibodies that work well for this
discrimination? Is a 2-color determination sufficient, or is a 3rd or 4th
marker needed?
How about naive vs. memory B cells? Does CD45RO/RA work for these as well,
or is CD44 better?
Thanks in advance.
