In recent months I have read from this space of the dangers of quantifying cell
death on the basis of the size of the sub G1 population. Concerns have been
expressed about a single cell yielding more than one fragment thus
overestimating the number of dead cells and such like.
I generally share these views but really need a suitable reference that
describes or discusses the difficulties of measuring cell death by this method.
All suggestions will be welcomed.
Thanks in anticipation.
