The cheapest is to cut out the peaks and weigh them!
We use Phoenix Flow Systems' Multicycle, which does a *much* more sophisticated
job.

Verity Software House has a DNA analysis program; don't use it.

I have a colleague who is getting cell cycle data and histograms from (and I
quote) "a FACSscan 8383 with Consort 32 software, and Cellfit version
2.01.2". It apparently produces HP formatted floppies with the data in FCS
1.0 file
format. They have some unusual cells that arrest in early S-phase and the
cell cycle software lumps this S-phase stuff in with the G1 fraction. Not
good.

They wondered whether there were any programs available to convert the HP
FCS 1.0 files into something that can be read by other cell cycle programs?
-- also as to which cell cycle programs might be most appropriate for this
type of application. Any suggestions as to what might be best/cheapest etc.?

Thanks in anticipation!
