Hello.
Thank you for adding my name to the Purdue maillist a few days ago - my
mailbag will never be the same again!!

Due to its sucess, I wondered if I would be allowed to inform your
readership of a course I am helping to run in the UK?

Details are as follows.

Flow Cytometry Course: in partnership with the Royal Microscopical Society
of Great Britain.
September 8th-12th in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK.

This is a two stage meeting to be run in The University of Sheffield
Medical School.

Stage one is a basic course from Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th September and
will be targeted at the novice cytometerist, providing important
information on the basics of flow cytometry, fluorescence, filters, data
handling, cell cycle, antigens, QC etc, with several wet practical
sessions.

Stage two is an advanced course from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th
September, and will cover topics such as cell sorting, multiparameter cell
cycle analysis, intracellular measurement of Calcium, pH, mitochondria,
enzymes etc, as well as apoptosis methods and chromosome sorting, and will
also feature many practical sesions.

Sheffield is situated within 5 miles of the Peak District, is about 1 hour
(rail) travel from Manchester, Leeds, and the East Midlands Airport, and
just over 2 hours from London.
