Purified OKT3 is available from several sources. Ortho
Diagnostic Systems in Raritan NJ sells OKT3 for flow
cytometry purposes. They used to sell it unconjugated, but
I think it's been discontinued. However, if you contact
them they may sell you some purified antibody with no
carrier protein and no preservatives as a special order. If
you have contacts with a hospital performing organ
transplants you may be able to obtain the therapeutic
version of OKT3 (purified antibody, no preservative, no
carrier protein) sold by Ortho Biotech from the hospital
pharmacy. Finally, the cell line can be purchased from
ATCC if you will not be using the antibody commercially or
for development of a commercial product and you can grow
it up and purify some yourself.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy purified OKT3? There
are many other
anti-human CD3 antibodies on the market, but I am going to
use this
antibody to induce apoptosis. I dont know whether any of
the other
antibodies have been used to induce apoptosis
I would appreciate any info, advice etc,
