Clone 4B2 can be obtained from the ATTC for a nominal fee. This pan CD45
hybridoma is easy to grow and secretes an IgG2 antibody that can readily be
purified on Protein A sepharose. It immunoprecipitates well and should
also make a good immunoaffinity column (use cross-linked protocols for e.g.
see J Biol Chem 57: 10766-10769, 1982, or J Biol Chem 261: 2418-2424,
1986).

We have also conjugated this antibody woth FITC and PE:Cy5 with good
success and these conjugates work very well in ISHAGE-style CD34 cell
enumeration protocols (Exp. Hematol. 22: 1003-1010, 1994).

Hope this is helpful,
