What I do know is that it's

Dear Dr. Waddick,

I think you are after one of the several media prepared and sold by Stem
Cell Technologies, in Vancouver B.C. People often refer to this company as
the Terry Fox Lab, if that rings a bell. We use their methylcellulose
medium H4434 for all the clinical cell therapy lab's progenitor assays, and
have been quite happy with the degree of control provided and the results
obtained.

You can reach Stem Cell Technologies at 800-667-0322. If your need is more
urgent, I would be happy to share my copy of their catalog, or to lend you
a bottle of medium H4434. Unlike PHA-LCM, 4434 is entirely recombinant,
but it may serve your purpose. The clinical cell therapy lab is located in
the MCT facility on the St. Paul campus, probably not too far from your
lab. Give me a call -- I'm sure we can help you.

Scott
