Isotypes for CD4 testing?

Clinical flow cytometrists,

I think it is well documented that isotypes are not needed for CD4
testing in the panels recommended by the CDC. However, the CAP
checklist still contains the requirement for isotypes. How are you
dealing with this? Are you still running isotypes because of the
checklist or are you dropping them and then arguing the point with the
inspector?

Thanks,

Kirk
