This pattern of DNA content has so far been detected in 9 young children displaying the "variant" lymphocytes typical of Infectious Mononucleosis.
All the "aneuploid" peaks were around 1.20 (+/- 2)
Five of the nine were confirmed as IM by routine screening techniques with the remaining four unknown.
