Embryos

Mouse embryos were treated in vivo with 250um hydroxyurea for 24 hours and measured for apoptosis with LysoTracker Red. The embryos were fixed in paraformaldehyde, dehydrated in MEOH and cleared in BABB. Figure 9 shows the comparison between control (left) and treated ( right) 9 day embryos. The magnification of the control is 62x and the treated is 100x. The control is artificially bright relative to the treated embryo as the conical PMT settings were increased to visualize this lighter staining embryo. The middle 16 individual sections of the control (Figure 10) and treated (Figure 11) are represented . The composites are shown in Figure 9.
