Although clearly of lymphoid origin, the VCS plots of T cell leukaemias commonly show slightly higher scatter values (horizontal axis) than do "common" type ALL's.

Below is a flow image of the dual CD4/CD8 expression of this case, showing what appears to be a dual population with differing degrees of CD4 antigen density.
Interestingly, although dual CD4/DNA staining was not performed, the percentage of low CD4 blasts was consistent with that of cells in G2/M phase.
