Has anyone analyzed or sorted using the green fluoescent protein serine
mutant that excites at 490nm max and emits at 510nm max? I have a client
that has cloned in this protein as the reporter gene, but I am not sure
what filters to use considering such a poor stoke's shift of this
variety. I have used the original gfp which excites in the UV but have
not seen anything on this mutant variety. Any information, experience,
or suggestions would be gratefully accepted, especially on the blocking,
dicroic, and band-pass that would give me the greatest signel to
background noise ratio.
Has anyone seen any flow papers reporting said usage?
Thanks in advance,
Rochelle Diamond
