As you may know, Coulter currently opts for either a bernoulli or a
Sony optical (both are costly and archaic). They are "testing" con-
figurations that use the ZIP or JAZ drives, but have not yet
approved these for distribution.
I think, however, that Coulter's primary concern with these new
devices is whether or not they will be compatible with their software in
a direct fashion. My suspision is that, in a setup where most of your
data transfers will occur OUTSIDE of the XL's software, there should
be no concern. Again, we'll see . . .
