Chromos Molecular Systems Inc. is the world leader in the development and
application of mammalian artificial chromosomes (MACs) for use in cellular
and transgenic protein production, xenotransplantation and animal models,
and cellular/gene therapy.

Chromos has engineering and production facilities in Vancouver, Canada and
conducts basic and applied research in Hungary. The Vancouver facilities
include a pilot plant, which enables the company, as the only group in the
world, to produce artificial chromosomes in meaningful quantities and
levels of purity. Chromos is setting the standards for artificial
chromosome production, and this core capability gives the company a
dominant strategic advantage.

Chromos' core technology is a Satellite DNA-based Artificial Chromosome
(SATAC). The company is implementing an integrated R&D program aimed, in
the short term, at engineering SATACs for the production of proteins in
cellular and transgenic systems. Over the medium term, the R&D program
will focus on the development of the technology for gene/cellular therapy
applications.

Chromos invites applications for:

Flow Cytometry Technologist. A position is available for an experienced
flow cytometry technologist to assist in the chromosome sorting facility.
Minimum qualifications include a B.A. or B.S. in biology or related
disciplines, work experience with mammalian cell culture techniques, and
1-2 years flow cytometry methods. Duties will include operation and
routine maintenance of a FACS Vantage and FACS Star Plus, both equipped
with a turbo-sort option. At this time we are only considering applicants
with cytometry experience.
