The problem we have here in Cambridge is this:-
Using Lysis II for data analysis on the H-P 340 computer, there is an
option of "print to file", for production of screen files for subsequent
transfer to other computer systems (esp. Mac) and incorporation into such
things as paint/graphic/DTP/etc. packages. The problem is that the Lysis II
files transfer okay, in our case via. FACSnet across to an IBM-PS/2, but are
in a format not recognized by any of our conventional packages. For the
Apple Mac there is a utility called "Lysis II graphics to Mac" for file
conversion from Lysis to MacPaint formats, but none such for the IBM-PC.
Does anyone have or know of such a file format conversion utility for
the PC, any of the 'standard' formats will be okay (we have a general
format conversion utility, after that), such that Lysis II screen graphics
can be incorporated into our fancy graphics packages for publication?
Any help or useful suggestions (!) would be most welcome...
