In response to the posting by Dave Coder I can offer the following help: I
have not used large particles but I have done some very long time course runs
(25 minutes) to study cell volume regulation. I used the Time Zero module from
Cytek for reagent injection and cell stirring. This has an external stirrer
which turns a very small stir bar inside of the usual 12x75 tube. This keeps a
uniform particle suspension and does not appear to significantly affect cell
viability over the course of the experiment. This would probably do to keep the
corn pollen particles in suspension without need to resort to dextran etc. If
you need more info please get in touch.
