Hi folks

Does anyone know of a way of identifying plasma cells by flow? I have
CD38
but it doesn't seem very specific. We wish to monitor the differentiation
of primary B-cells into plasma cells.

Hi Simon,

We have used B-B4 monoclonal antibody made from a myeloma cell line.
It appears quite specific, ie positivity in plasma cell dyscrasias, and have
not noticed any positivity when tried on B- NHL, or other lymphoid
malignancies.

Our commercial source is Serotec Canada, 1-800-265-7376. Can try the
internet address to obtain a closer contact (www.serotec.co.uk). The
order # for PE conjugated is MCA681PE, and for FITC conjugated the # is
MCA681F.

Hope this helps.
