We can tackle your instrumentation development challenges, allowing you to concentrate on your research. If you know what you want, but not how to do it, let us help you with our expertise and experience. We can take you from concept to implementation, to application. Our experience in developing electronics for the research environment helps us to build maximum flexibility into a device, allowing you the option to explore the unknown avenues of the future.
If your current flow cytometry system has functional limitations that are impeding your work, we may be able to help you incrementally upgrade/modify your system to allow you to move ahead without the capital requirements of purchasing a new commercial instrument. Many bottlenecks or other limitations in your system may be easily mitigated with the addition or replacement of small modular components. New features may be added in the same manner. This is especially true if you have already assembled a "home-brew" system where upgrade support from the commercial instrument suppliers is not possible.
In developing add-on or replacement devices to meet your needs, we select from a toolbox of technologies, those that are appropriate to your application. In our toolbox, we have the expertise to apply and integrate analog (precision, high speed, high-voltage, etc.), digital (TTL, ECL, PECL, CMOS, etc.), programmable logic devices (PLD, CPLD, FPGA), microcontroller and microprocessor (hardware and software), standard bus interface (ISA, PCI, GPIB, RS-232, etc.) and other types of electronic circuitry.
We want to help you, not take away your control. If you already have the internal resources and desire to accomplish parts of a project, we are happy to step in and support you in the areas where you have resource or expertise gaps. We will work closely with the resources you select in a way that provides you the greatest success. We can help with System Design, Circuit Design, Microcontroller Interface, Embedded Software, PC Instrument Control Software, Printed Circuit Board Layout Design, Prototype Construction, Testing, Product-Like Device Assembly or any other part of the development activity you desire.
If you have already developed a solution to your problems and think others may be interested, we may be able to assist you in further development for commercializing it as a product.
