Regardiing your comments on analysis of whole blood using antibodies to
GP IIbIIIa (CD41, 42a or 61)- why do you lyse the RBC's? We routinely
perform whole blood flow analysis of platelet activation (in vivo or in
vitro) without any lysis step. I would be concerned about RBC ghosts
which may have similar FALS to platelets, and I don't see any advantage
to lysing.
