Nitex (Nitex is a registered trademark) woven monofilament mesh is produced
in Switzerland. There are a vast number of sizes (both monofilament diameter
and spacing). You can buy the same mesh far, far cheaper from the distributor
in the US.

(In Canada the last I heard, B. & S.H. Thompson & Co. Ltd. was the
distributor; offices in Toronto and Montreal.)
The mesh is woven approximately 1 meter wide. Tetko sells it by the yard
(effectively the square yard). Small Parts sells it by the square inch at
something like 10 times the cost of Tetko. We buy a couple of meters at a
time, and with profligate use it lasts a couple of years.
