I think Ric Thorpe's response to the suggestion of Mario Roederer is very
appropriate. The reader is the best editor for a topic being discussed over
this list. To read a condensed version of several replies a week or more
after the question was asked, is not as exciting as reading the answers when
they are posted. If we could stress that responses carry appropriate subject
headings, a lot of time can be saved flipping through messages of unknown
content.
