Steve

I routinely use 2 750 instruments for 3 and 4 color applications. There
are a couple of solutions for your compensation woes. A hardware approach
is to acquire a "subtraction module" from an old EPICS V system. This
will plug right into the lower rack of your 750 and give you another
compensation channel. This has the benefit of allowing you to correct
the 3rd color (Pe-Cy5) using a PE signal already corrected for the FITC
overlap. Alternatively Cytomation has done a pretty good job with adding
compensation to their system. You can compensate the 3rd channel there
and use it for sorting. We have Ciceros on our systems.
