We have been requested by the Experimental Immunology Section to evaluate
peripheral blood of Rhesus and Chimpanzee monkeys, specifically looking for
CD34+ cells. Does anyone have any information on cross reacitivty of various
anti-human monoclonal CD34 clones with non-human primate cells? Are their
erythrocytes similar to human in terms of bouyant density? and can traditional
Ficoll or Percoll at 1.077 gm/mL be used? Any and all suggestion will be
welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks
