FACScan parts wanted

Our FACScan is no longer running, and we are seeking a new or used status
board. Does anyone know where we might find one? Are there any companies
selling flow cytometer parts? A new status board is $2200, a cost we hope
to avoid if possible.

A BD representative diagnosed the problem as a faulty status board after we
observed the following:

Instrument status is normal (switches between not ready, standby and run modes)
Fluidics normal (sheath fluid pressurized, back flush and drain/fill work
fine, samples run fine)
laser is on (we physically checked)

but from the control page, we see wild fluctuations in the laser power (0.8
to 4.4 to 17 mW) and current (0.3 to 1.7 amps) and sample pressure (0.16
to 0.85 volts)
and a warning messages states that the SSC, FL1, FL2 PMT's are malfunctioning

Sound like we need a new status board?

Thanks!
Jim
