Cytek makes a device called the "Time Zero" that is designed for rapid
sample delivery in the context of kinetic expeiments. It attaches to
the Elite with minimal fuss, as long as you label PMT coax cables and
fluidics lines before you detach them!

We have shelved our Time Zero. I don't know if we got a lemon, or if we
just didn't try hard enough to become familiar with it. In any case,
it's worth looking into.

Cytek lists the transit time as 0.5 to 1.0 seconds. I don't know the
price.
